217: Too many hints for linked file
The left curly bracket {
is used together with the right curly bracket }
to provide a hint. Hints are usually displayed as a little text box when a user's pointer hovers over a region on the webpage. A hint can be combined with some linked files, namely images linked with [i]->
or [j]->
and media files linked with [v]->
or [w]->
. In your case it is either combined with a different file type for which hints are not supported or you have combined multiple hints with a linked file where only one is accepted.
Solution
Merging multiple hints into a single hint is an option in combination with the file types [i]
, [j]
, [v]
and [w]
. Here is an example:
[i]->eye.jpg->/anatomy/{A human eye. Klick to learn about its anatomy.}
Otherwise consider using other means to convey information to readers. Captions are supported for all file types. The caption in the next example reads I would literally not …
[h]->ancestry-tree.html
I would literally not be here without these people.
